i went to church last Sunday, quite exciting i must say. chairs arranged nicely, the music loud and interesting at the same time, you've got to love black churches. The church is called "impact of Christ", yeah, black churches also have names that can knock your sucks off with your shoes still on. All that aside, the prophet said something that really touched me the right way. he said, on Christmas days every year people, buy cloths, gifts, people drink and get drunk, people do horrible things on that one special birthday of a special person. some don't even know the real meaning of Christmas, all they know is that it is a day to get turned up to the max.
They forget about inviting the one person that matters in their celebrations, the person whose birthday it is. Must people don't invite Jesus in their Christmas activities probably because they already know how high and crazy they will get even though it his party. just think about this for a moment, what if on your birthday people get reckless and out of control and most of all they do not bring you gift? i am not saying turning up on Christmas day is bad but at least before you get started with your Christmas party, it's not wrong to invite Jesus in your activities; not only on Christmas day even but also in your day-to-day activities. did you know that some kids today know Santa and Christmas more than they know Jesus and Christmas? They know Christmas is the period they get to see Santa Claus and the gifts they are going to get or receive from relatives and friends, but as related to the real reason why we celebrate Christmas, some kids don't know that it is the celebration of the birth of the man who died on the cross for our sins. Turn up all you want on Christmas but invite the lord in to your celebration. Happy Christmas everyone.
